Ross Piper

About

Victorian born and bred, Ross sees himself as a generalist physiotherapist who likes to mesh a friendly nature with quality hands on skills and contemporary exercise interventions. He considers himself empathetic for those with chronic health conditions, having experienced this first hand, and feels he is well placed to support many different patient presentations.

Experience

Ross graduated from the Latrobe University, Melbourne with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) in 1993. Since then, he has worked in a variety of hospital and private clinic roles, both in Australia and overseas.

On any given day he may smell a little of chlorine. Ross has a specialisation in Aquatic Physiotherapy having trained in Valens Switzerland and then the Level 3 Aquatic Physiotherapy certificate, Australia’s highest Aquatic credentialed course so loves getting in the water.

  • Hip Rehabilitation

Ross also has an active interest in physical conditioning in the presence of chronic pain conditions; being certified in the University of Sydney’s Brief Pain self-management Program. He is a 30-year surfer, a very average runner and skateboarder and is now an avid cyclist. Ross has a growing interest in strength and conditioning in rehabilitation practice.

Ross loves nothing more than guiding people in the right direction, and aims to provide every client with at least one thing that will assist their recovery. Through repeated improvements, and a broadened understand of your complaint, larger improvements can be made.
